| 内容記述 | 本論文の目的は，今日の一般的な教育概念と近代的な教育を再考する手掛かりとして，教育の基礎と原義に立ち戻り教育概念の再定義を試みることである．まず，人間は世代交代の危機を乗り越え社会的に生命を継承しなければ生き延びることができないという基本的事実から，危機を乗り越えるために出産や養育を中心に多様な教育関係が結ばれてきたことを明らかにする．次いで，教育の原義においても，教育が広く養育として理解されていたことを示す．そのうえで，養育を中心にした教育がケアと不可分であることを，エリクソンの「生成継承性」概念と《educare》概念を参照しつつ検証する．しかし，ここではまだ両者の関係は解明されていない．そこでケア概念の検討によって，ケアとは異なる教育の固有の意味を明らかにする．以上の検討の結果，教育を，個人のレベルでは，学習を介して子どもの善き生を豊かに育むことをケアし援助する営みとして，社会のレベルでは，そうした営みを介して，世代交代という危機を乗り越え社会的な生命を次世代に継承していく営みとして，再定義する． | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to redefine the concept of education, returning to the basis and originalmeaning of education, as a clue to rethink critically the generally understood concept of education and today’smodern educational system. Firstly, we argue that education was needed as instrument to overcome the crises of alternation of generations and to succeed human life safely, and therefore that nourishing or rearing a child was understood as the primary meaning of education. Secondly, we elucidate the inseparable relation between education and care in child-rearing, referring to Erikson’s concept of ‘generativity’ and modern concept of ‘educare’. Besides, we consider more again the concept of ‘care’, to show fundamental differences between care and education. Lastly, summarizing the above mentioned arguments, we reconcept education in itself on the one hand from the view of individuals as caring and supporting children through their learning in order to nurture and to enrich their well-being,and on the other hand from the view of community as succession of human being‘s life through the caring and supporting. | |||||||||||
