The purpose of this study is to conceptualize “ethics” as alternatives of “moral\neducation”. Firstly, we clarify that this \"moral education\" has difficulties to respond to the various ethical issue, while\nensuring children's autonomy and diverse values in today's value pluralistic-democratic society. Then we examine\ncritically whether the conceptions presented during this time as alternatives to “moral education” can overcome\nsuch difficulties.
