In fractures of diaphyseal part, there are many dense bone structures, and there is a higher rate of prolonged healing compared to places with a lot of sponge.  In this study, we consider that [elbow flexion / extension] may cause bone irritation and promote callus formation after early exercise in a single fracture of ulna shaft, and range of motion of the joint does not remain more than fixed under immobility. This is a report of the results of a follow-up observation using a cast that can bend and extend the elbow joint. The subject was a 74-year-old male. The chief complaint was right forearm pain. During the softball game, the forearm suffered a pitch that hits the batter and was injured. The next day, he visited our hospital. Two weeks after the visit, elbow joint flexion and extension cast was performed. There was no XP dislocation or range of motion limitation, and the difference in grip strength was higher on the affected side, leading to healing. Originally, due to prolonged fusion due to fracture of the diaphysis and fixation of cine, contracture may remain after removal of the fixation.
