We performed an anonymous self-recorded questionnaire survey with 114 second-year students on the “effects of both the pre-test and technology assessment for learning nursing techniques.” As a result, 86% of the students answered that the pre-test was useful for learning nursing techniques. They were motivated by the pre-test to prepare for the next lesson and they could make a self-assessment about the details of their preparation and learn new things. In addition, 84.2% answered that the learning method with use of the technology assessment sheet was also useful for learning new techniques.
