A questionnaire survey was conducted with 381 nursing students of University “A”. The variables were the Self Directed Learning Readiness Scale (SDLRS) and personal factors. We analyzed subscale score each grade using a one way ANOVA and multiple comparison.\nThe results showed that the mean was highest in the fourth-grade, and the third-grade was lowest, and there was hardly a difference between the mean of the first-grade and the second-grade. In the third-grade, “ability to use basic study skills and problem-solving skills” and “positive orientation to the future” were significantly low in comparison with the other grade students. \"commitment to study\" was higher than other factors in all grade students. In the fourth-grade, the score of all factors was high except a score of “Inquiring minds” in comparison with the other school years.
