X rays showed a fracture of the proximal phalanx of the index finger. We chose a noninvasive therapy. The woman with the fracture was treated using a knuckle cast after closed reduction. The knuckle cast was applied for four weeks. The patient’s progress was followed up for twelve weeks after the injury. X rays showed bone union. Rotational deformities did not occur, and a good range of motion was preserved.
